The Parish Council send their Christmas greetings to all villagers and wish them a Happy New Year. The turning on of the Christmas tree lights and Carols will be held on the 14th December on the playing field (if bad weather then the Sunday). Councillor Jonathon Seed attended the meeting to inform us that he would be covering the Ethandune area until a by-election is held due to the sad death of our Councillor, Linda Conley.

The Parish Council would like to send our thanks to Eric Mitchell for his work in starting and running the Speedwatch in the village for the last four years. He has now stood down from this role. The Wiltshire speedwatch co-ordinator attended the last meeting and made the request for a villager to take up the role of Edington Co-ordinator.
