Poetry means so much to so many,

It’s either a pain, or a pleasure to us.

But the group in the village doesn’t cost a penny,

And we meet about four weekly with never a fuss.

A glass of wine, a reading or two,

Or three or more, it depends on the mood.

So come and join us, we’ll welcome you too,

We’re friendly to all, with all to include.
