Edington Arts are offering a mouth-watering weekend of Bach to mark the return of their concert series after the summer.
On Saturday October 2nd at 7.30pm the brilliant Oxford Bach Soloists and instrumental ensemble under their inspirational director Tom Hammond Davies will perform a programme which includes the Brandenburg Concerto No2, in its original for six instruments and for horn rather than trumpet. Look forward also to Cantata no 96, written for the 18th Sunday after Trinity which falls on October 3rd, Telemann’s cantata on the same theme, and other jewels.
Tickets for the Oxford Bach Soloists on 2nd October are £20/15/10 as usual, and £10 for Libby Burgess on Sunday. There will be a 10% discount if you buy a combined ticket for both concerts and Edington Angels will have their 10% discount on top. 18 and under are free.
