Parish Council News for November

The Parish Council would like to wish all Parishioners a very Happy Christmas .

To get you into the festive mood we will be having the ANNUAL  CHRISTMAS TREE  switch on Sunday  10 December at  5.00 pm

Music will be provided by Bratton Silver Training Band  with refreshments donated by the Three Daggers

Road closures We have been notified  the B3098 from Coulston to Lower Road Erlestoke will be closed from 11-15 December

Fly Tipping  There have been several instances recently where green waste has been dumped alongside footpaths.   Grass clippings kill the natural flora and encourage the growth of nettles. Dumped  woody branches make it difficult to strim the banks.  Be a good neighbour and use the green bins not the hedgerows and help us keep the footpaths in good order to be enjoyed by all.

Parking  Poor parking along Salisbury Hollow and Long Hollow are again causing problems particularly for our farmers . There are working farms on the Downs, good access is needed at all times.

Planning) The following applications have been received:-
