Following the very well attended Parish Council Meeting on Monday 1st June, which looked at the proposed development in the village, I have sent in a request to Wiltshire Council planners for the matter to go before a full planning committee, if the case officer recommends approval. We have to await the outcome of this.

I was also pleased to be able to support the bid to the Westbury Area Board on Thursday 4th June from the Edington Ringing centre based at Edington Priory for new lighting to assist in the running of the centre. £613 was awarded.

Finally, it was good to see very many people at the fete on Saturday 6th June which I was pleased to open.
