The Parish Council holds a contingency plan to manage/mitigate against harm and damage to the community in the event of a sudden incident/emergency. This includes the provision of temporary shelter, emergency first aid, road clearance, emergency contact with utility companies.  All Parish Councillors are named individuals on the plan together with volunteers from the village. In the event of an adverse incident, Councillors would liaise and initiate a response and we would ask all villagers, where possible, to check on any of their neighbours who may be at risk in the event of, eg: extreme weather conditions, power outages etc. The names of all Parish Councillors can be found on this website at https://edingtonwiltshire.org.uk/parish-council/
