Please note that we have experienced two thefts on the Salisbury Plain as follows:-

–       A theft from vehicle was reported on Saturday 2nd March.  It

occurred  between 13:10 and 13:50 hours whilst the occupants were walking their dogs in the Tinhead Farm area on the Salisbury Plain.  It appears that access was gained via an insecure passenger door and  2 handbags containing mobiles, bank cards, keys  and cash were removed from the boot.  The bags , minus some contents, have been recovered.

     Valuables should not be left in vehicles parked in remote areas.

–       6 x 2metre lengths of steel 1″sections were stolen from a farmyard

near the White Horse between 26/02/2013 and 01/03/2013.  Access was gained by breaking a padlock/chain on the gate.

Could you please pass this on to all your NHW, FW and HW members (friends/family) and ask if anyone saw anything that may help with investigations and to ensure that vigilance and security consciousness is practiced at all times.
