The Speaker at our October meeting will be Nicholas Baxter on the founder of SAVE THE CHILDREN, Eglantyne Jebb.
At our November meeting Sue and Meg will be leading a craft workshop, materials provided, any suggestions/particular areas of interest -ask at the meeting.
Our Christmas celebration, partners/friends included, will be in house. We need 3 volunteers to head groups to provide food for the 3 courses; if you can do this but will not be at the meeting please contact me. We will need to know how many of us will be attending by November.
The March meeting next year will be a fashion show presented by pupils from Kingdown School; we want to form a small subcommittee, led by Sandra. It would be particularly helpful to have anyone who is thinking of joining the committee next year as this will be its first meeting. All this group has to do is to organise the logistics for the evening and the school will do the rest! Please contact Sandra.
We have had a cull of books so do bring along some new ones and also any bric a brac etc, it all goes to boost our donation to ACWW.
See your Wiltshire Life and the events book for outings/activities etc.; particularly those closing at the meeting. You can also contact Clare Brown for tickets on 830733. At the end of January there is a Food Safety course [details in the folder]; we will be happy to fund a small number of members who may wish to attend.
