Bratton;

  • Reports of Motorcyles off road on Salisbury Plain causing problems for training troops. It is an offence to ride/drive  a motorcycle  or vehicle off road unless you have express permission from the landowner. MOD do not give permission for person to use their land for this purpose. Police Officers and Community Support Officers have power to seize vehicle/m.cycles use in this manner.
  • Several Reports of Poaching and Hare Coursing on MOD land. The persons involved in this type of activity also cause damage to crops and fencing. The use of vehicle in amongst livestock can cause stress to sheep which will cause them to abort unborn lambs.
  • Theft of a camera from a parked vehicle at the White Horse Car Park. Thieves smashed a window to gain access to the vehicle. Thieves frequently target vehicles parked in remote locations. Please do not leave anything in vehicles.
  • Damage to a vehicle parked at the White Horse Car park. It is thought that this was an attempt to gain access, although no access was gained and nothing was taken.
  • Access gained to a vehicle parked at the White Horse Car Park although nothing taken.
  • A cannabis Street Warning was issued to a male found to be in possession of a small quantity of herbal cannabis at the White Horse Car Park

Theft of a camera from a parked vehicle at Tinhead Barn Thieves smashed a window to gain access to the vehicle. Thieves frequently target vehicles parked in remote locations. Please do not leave anything in vehicles.
