Well it is that time again, the apple have begun to drop so time has arrived to make use of natures bounty.

Due solely to the donation made by Edington May Ball we have purchased a second professional apple press and purpose built apple crusher. So hopefully this year will be easier and quicker.

Andy has been building a new website for Edington Cider making where all of the equipment can be seen, instructions on cider making and a couple of links to sites to purchase equipment from or read more detailed making instructions. the address is www.edingtoncider.webs.com

On Sunday 14th September 2014 from 09.00 on Edington Playfield we will be meeting to carry out this years village apple pressing.

You will need to bring your apples, a container to carry/brew your apple juice (don’t forget to sterilise it first), a container to take home your crushed apple remains and £3.00 for the use of the equipment.

If you are unable to attend Sunday 14th the equipment can be lent out for you to use at home, (but please note that many people use it this way so only ask for it when you will be able to use it. A charge of £5.00 will be made for this).
