Best kept village competition. We have entered again this year. First round Judging takes place during the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks of June. Can ever body make sure litter is picked up and verges kept tidy and pick up after your dogs, thank you.
Play field We are hoping to buy some new equipment for the playing field . We have had requests for a toddler slide and an adventure course. We would like to hear from villagers but especially the users ie the children on what they would like. Parish councillors will be in the book marquee At the fair with catalogues or contact Pauline at the post office.
Dog are continuing to be a problem in the playfield. Regulations for prohibiting dogs are because of health and safety and are a national requirement. NO DOGs are permitted at any time, not to walk through the park or to play with the children or to visit the fair. No dog means No dogs. Thank you for your cooperation.
The PC Car Park opposite the Parish Hall is primarily for users of the Parish hall and short term leisure parking. We request villagers respect this and not use it as their own private parking space.
Local Development Plan The response from the annual parish meeting was broadly in favour of going forward. Our next step is to seek your views on what you would like to see developed in the village and to ascertain the village demographics. To obtain this a questionnaire will be dropping through your letter box in June. The Development plan is a village led plan not the parish council so your views will count. If anybody would like to become more involved we would love to hear from you.
