The first concert of the 2025 season is a soul-satisfying combination of saxophone, organ, soprano and percussion: Sanctuary, in the Priory Church on Saturday 8th March at 7.30pm.
Saxophonist Christan Forshaw’s performing career has developed from jazz into his own voice, ethereal and emotional. His original compositions, as well as his arrangements, are deeply rooted in sacred melodies and the church choral tradition, and he now performs and records with leading choral ensembles and collaborates with musicians from a variety of musical genres.
He is joined by Richard Pinel (organ, former Director of the Edington Music Festival), soprano Rosanna Wicks, and percussionist Ryan Hepburn.
Tickets are on sale through the Edington Arts website, www.edingtonarts.org, from £11-£25, with 18s and under coming free. Unmissable.
