The children’s play equipment in Edington Playfield was officially opened on Saturday 15th October by Councillor Jerry Wickham, Chairman of Westbury Area Board. The opening celebration took place during the Three Daggers Fundraising Hop Fest and music afternoon.
Edington Parish Council funded the new climbing apparatus and safety matting with a £3,500 grant from the Westbury Area Board, a very generous donation from a local charity event, a donation from a local business and from proceeds from the Three Daggers autumn Hopfest. The Parish Council is grateful to everyone who has contributed towards this project.
